Vegas is still definitely on my mind. I have the urge to leave work early, crack open my laptop and sign on to partypoker to get some more hands in. I played a little last night, and made $15 in a .5/1 game with a $25 buyin in about 20 minutes. Not bad. I was up to $35 quick, whittled down to 18-20 and then had a couple of quick wins that I decided to take to the bank, pocketing that $15.
I’ve been in a constant state of tiredness this week. It’s the massive sleep debt from the past 3 weeks all added up. I’m sleeping in tomorrow. Every appliance will be turned off and I will sleep in to my heart’s content, so good luck trying to get ahold of me =) It looks like I might even finish this assignment for school a bit early, so I can submit it and get it out of the way.
Tomorrow is going to be all about organization. I have a huge pile of mail to file and I’m going to clean up the apartment. Definitely need to hit up Trader Joe’s and restock the apartment.
It’s been an excruciatingly frustrating week at work, but I have some reprieve this weekend. Between basketball, alcohol, checking out the local Y, listening to one of my favorite artists live and getting things organized, I’m just looking foward to feeling like I’m in control of things again. On Monday I’m going to be meeting with my hiring manager to catch up with him and I’m always nervous about those meetings, but I always enjoy them. In his own subtle way, he helps my confidence and brightens my professional outlook, which lately has felt very dim.
Also thinking about dropping linux on my box at home. I find I don’t use it nearly as much anymore… *sigh* It’s a love/hate relationship with windows. That mac mini is pretty damn tempting but too steep of an investment for me at this point given how poorly my switch to Fedora went.
