happy thanksgiving everyone. today was a pretty simple day. woke up around 8, couldn’t really fall back asleep so i jumped in the shower and pondered what to do today. i felt like going out for a drive, but part of me just wanted to veg today and not worry about anything. i ended up watching the morning football game and the falcons won easily. after lunch i felt tired and took a 2 hr long nap. woke up to see the end of the dallas game. this lead right into some basketball and i saw the pacers own the cavs. the cavs have a ways to go to actually become an elite team in spite of their hot start. proceeded to catch the sonics/lakers game. sad game to see… we were up by 10, then let the lead slip away in the 3rd quarter. allen had a terrible game, because of kobe’s d or something else. anyway, looks like it will be a long season for sonics fans.

with today being thanksgiving, i thought i’d list out ten things i’m thankful for, in no particular order:

• my family
• katie and her family
• friends
• my job
• being in school
• living close to work and school
• good books i read in the past year (the namesake, a fine balance, microserfs, anita and me, etc)
• good shows i saw live in the last year (tracy morgan, carlos mencias, bill maher, bill cosby, russell peters, etc)
• sound mind and soul
• my new car (not everything was going to be non-materialistic!)
