one more thing, i didn’t want to forget to mention the bomb blasts in mumbai today. a terrible, horrible violent act that forever ruined the lives of thousands of innocent people. the indian government has not named any person or group responsible but they have indicated that the style of the attack resembles those of Lashkar-e-Tayyiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed, two terrorist organizations linked with the fight for Kashmir. i will reserve judgment until the facts are known. the coordination of the attacks reminds me of the london and madrid bombings, which might suggest foreign terrorist organizations. regardless, i hope they can get to the bottom of this and that this tragedy will bring the indian government past many of their ridiculously stupid mistakes. mumbai is a resilient city, one that can and will recover from this.

i’ve attempted to contact my roommate who is on travel to mumbai and am yet to hear back from him. i’m concerned but i have no reason to believe he would be traveling on the train while he was there since he would have arrived a couple days ago and would be spending time with his family.
