well, i decided a couple of months back to get off of my shared hosting provider for a variety of reasons that left me unsatisfied with their offering and service. i moved a couple of domains over to my new VPS provider, linode, but still had left the big one behind. two nights ago i began transitioning email and finally completed reinstalling wordpress on the new system.

i’ve decided to archive my old posts for my own sake, but i will not make them available through this blog. instead, i’m going for a fresh start, a clean slate if you will. this archive amounts to six years of blogging, several hundred posts, that i have decided to shelve for now. at some point, i may bring them back, but i think this is for the best.

i’m also experimenting with twitter integration on this blog, to ensure there is a bit more activity here post-wise. we’ll see how that goes. i’m also playing around with several new plugins that i will examine in more detail with posts as time goes on. for now, i have two pressing topics i will be writing about over the next two days: turning 27 a couple of weeks ago, and getting married last weekend.
