In the spirit of the SNL “Really?” skits, I just had to post up this ad that showed up on my Facebook home page.

With the economy melting and Wall Street looking like it experienced a modern Armageddon, is it really the best idea to be pitching people for “Finance Job Openings” right now? Really?

Is the finance page of CareerBuilder.com really the best way to go if you’re looking for a new opportunity right now? Really?

Is becoming a fan on Facebook for a rapidly deteriorating industry really going to pique my interest right now. Really?

Is putting that dude who looks like a banker tool version of Justin Timberlake going to entice me to pick up a finance job right now? Really?

Seriously, Facebook + CareerBuilder.com, you’re wasting time/effort/resources. Really. Maybe you can try to come up with a working business model sooner than three years from now.
